The Crucifixtion of Tiger Woods

Recently, there has been a recurring theme in the media; How many women has Tiger Woods slept with? I mean sure, whenever a well-known celebrity gets caught with his/her pants down, the media has a field day, but for two months straight?

It seems as if the media cannot get over the fact that a man of African American descent is a star on the golf course as well as the sheets….so it seems. But honestly, is it a story worth covering for two months straight? Ever since the story first aired in late November, as a domestic dispute, between Tiger Woods and his wife Ellen, it seems that the media cannot leave him alone.

He has been the center of attention from tabloid magazines claiming that he had cheated on his wife with over 20 mistresses, to Saturday night live sketches, showing him as a passive egotist….can’t the brother get a break?

I mean how many other celebrities, or men of power, go out every night, cheat on their wives with different women, and go to work the next day like nothing happened?…..alot. So why is it that Tiger is getting crucified for doing it? Well, because he’s a  black athlete dominating a predominantly white game, with a white wife,  and he got caught cheating. That makes a much better story, than the average Joe Shmoe, who cheats on his wife.

Maybe Tiger should have taken advice from the last man of power to get caught with his pants down and said “I did not have sexual relations with that woman.” Or in Tiger’s case woman(s).
